The development, in the Fulton Market District, is close to the Clinton Green Line El stop and Randolph Street’s Restaurant Row is within walking distance, as is Greektown, Northwestern Station and the East Bank Club. A Dominick’s is a few blocks south on Halsted St. The Market District neighborhood has also recently gained attention for the addition of the restaurant Moto, whose young executive chef, Homaru Cantu, recently beat Iron Chef Morimoto on Iron Chef America. Several art galleries have also opened in the neighborhood, but fish markets are still in operation and some are open to the public so that the freshest fish may be obtained by all Chicagoans. The Thrush Companies have received several awards for their multi-use and multi-family buildings. Another current project is “Jazz on the Boulevard” on the South Side. Incentives are currently available for 740 Fulton. Completed developments include Block X and Block Y in the West Loop Gate neighborhood.
