The Lakeview real estate market is one of the most popular for young professionals and families looking to enjoy a Chicago luxury condominium at a bargain. The neighborhood is a great option for buyers who don't want to pay the high prices for real estate in Lincoln Park or the Near North Side.

One development that stands out in Lakeview is located at 320 W Oakdale. This glass building was completed in 1955, and is a great example of 50s modernism. The development offers a total of 54 condominiums. There is currently just one unit for sale, but from recent sales at the building, we can get a good estimate of values of these luxury condominiums.

Several one-bedroom condominiums have been sold in recent months, with values ranging from $199,000 to $259,000. Two-bedroom condominiums range in price from $250,000 to $420,000. The three-bedroom units sold in recent months have ranged from $320,000 to $440,000. Penthouse units are also available from time to time, with prices ranging from the high $800s to the high $900s.

There is currently a two-bedroom and 1.5-bath condominium for sale at 320 W Oakdale. This unit is located on the 17th floor, and offers a total of 1,600 square feet of living space. This condominium has been on the market for just over four months, and has been reduced in price from $364,000 to $349,000. The owner is offering free assessments and free parking for the first three months.

The kitchen and bath on this unit have been completely remodeled. Residents will love the floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light and open out to one of the most panoramic views that can be found in Lakeview. This unit offers hardwood floors in the kitchen and carpet throughout the rest of the condominium.

The development also offers a number of common amenities that include a 24-hour doorman service, extra storage space, a bike room, and laundry room.

The neighborhood is a great choice for professionals, with excellent amenities and connections to downtown Chicago. The building is located right next to St. Josephs Hospital, and just down the street from Lincoln Park, where residents can find plenty of bike trails, walking paths, open green space, and beaches.

The development is also just minutes from many excellent restaurants on Diversey, just two blocks south. Nightlife is centered along Broadway Street as well as Diversey Pkwy. Getting to downtown Chicago is easy. There are several buses that run along Sheridan Road, connecting commuters to most of the downtown Chicago business district. The nearest El station is just a few blocks west on Wellington and Sheffield.

The real estate market has seen a drop in sales in recent months around Lakeview. According to data from the Chicago Association of Realtors, a total of just 318 condos were sold around the neighborhood during the first quarter, down from 409 condos sold during the same period a year ago.

However, despite the drop in demand for Lakeview condos, there seems to still be strong demand for the most expensive units in the neighborhood. The average sales price rose by 12 percent during the first quarter as buyers focused on the highest priced units in the market.
