Ivy Hall is a complete new neighborhood that is being developed by three different companies. Mesirow Stein Real Estate, Inc is one of the companies behind Ivy Hall. They have worked on projects around the city ranging from the McCormick Place expansion to the major redevelopment at Glenview Naval Air Station. New Frontier Companies and Harlem Irving Companies are the other two developers involved in the Ivy Hall project. Ivy Hall will offer a wide range of choices for residents looking to live in the University Village. University Village is located on the Near West Side of Chicago and is home to the University of Illinois at Chicago. The average turnover time for the neighborhood is now at 175 days, up from 146 last year. This is 75 percent higher than the citywide average. Prices in the neighborhood should start dropping as condo owners and developers compete to attract fewer buyers.
