Breaking News - Aristocrat Tower Project Cancelled

In the 19th century, the Prairie Station neighborhood in Chicago, IL., was a place the business and social elite were proud to call home. Except for the surface trappings, not much has changed. That is because there are so many wonderful things to experience at Prairie Station, such as a tremendous and exciting tradition of jazz and blues, recreational parklands like the Museum Campus and Millennium Park along the Lakefront District and, of course, the lake itself. Living at Aristocrat Tower at Prairie Station can put you right in the midst of all that activity. You won't have much of an opportunity to become bored.

Forget for a moment that Millennium Park is a great place to go for cultural events. It's a great place to go, period, especially if you enjoy looking at architecture and landscape. A few of the jewels in this crown include the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, the Lurie Garden, the Cloud Gate sculpture, and the amazing Crown Fountain, which isn't just a fountain. It's a piece of art. Two 50-foot glass block towers at either end of a shallow reflecting pool project video images. These images are basically the people of Chicago, which change periodically. What you see is an up-close portrait of one person with his or her mouth puckered. Water flows through the screen, and therefore through the mouth of anyone whose picture is on the screen at the time. It's like one of those garden sculptures you see for sale at Renaissance Fairs, in which water flows through the mouth of the Green Man or a gargoyle.

It's a good sign when people and businesses are moving in to an area. It means that the place is growing. There are plenty of businesses moving into Prairie Station—newly opened restaurants and boutiques, as well as posh cafes. There is plenty of art and culture to whet your appetite as well. Art and culture are a sign of prosperity. Just think of the name Aristocrat Tower.

Sometimes you have to give up atmosphere to get great conveniences, but not at this luxury highrise. They've thought of everything. They really have.

The pre construction phase of purchase is over, but there are still condos left.
