The Lakeview neighborhood surrounding the Residences at the Vic is one of the project’s strongest selling points and will put those who live in the building right in the middle of one of the most active areas the city has to offer. The area borders Lake Michigan and is great for those who enjoy all manner of lakefront recreation. There are also many diverse shopping, dining, and nightlife options available within walking distance, along with easy access to Brown, Red, and Purple Line trains. Several bus lines serve the neighborhood, as well. Clearly, life in Lakeview is all about going out. The Residences at the Vic is another construction project from Joseph Freed and Associates, LLC. The firm has been active since 1965 and is still family-owned, which is a rarity in their business. They have developed 11 million square feet of commercial space and 5000 residential units in their real estate history and have recently began concentrating on mixed-use spaces like the Vic. Those interested in living here can drop by the onsite Sales Center Monday through Friday from 11AM to 6PM and weekends from 11AM to 5PM.
