However, despite the 20 percent decline in demand during the first quarter, the supply of condos on the market did not increase by much. It took an average of 117 days for condo owners and developers to find a buyer around the neighborhood. This is just seven days longer than during the same period last year.

The steady inventory numbers and an increase in the construction of luxury units around the neighborhood helped keep prices in positive territory. The average sales price jumped by an impressive 24 percent during the first quarter, and should continue to rise due to the neighborhood's excellent location and plentiful amenities.
