The market for single family homes in North Park is also small in comparison to other neighborhoods around Chicago. Only 14 homes were sold in the neighborhood during the second quarter of this year, off from the peak of 25 during the second quarter of 2005. The price of homes in the neighborhood continues to rise. The average sales price was up over 10 percent during the second quarter to just over $500,000, according to the Chicago Association of Realtors. However, owners are waiting longer to find a buyer on the market in North Park. The average turnover time for single family homes in the neighborhood doubled to 149 days during the second quarter. North Park real estate trends are difficult to establish due to the small size of the real estate market. Condos and homes are available in North Park. Buyers can choose from homes for as little as $200,000 and as much as $900,000 or more. A three bedroom and two bath home in North Park is currently listed on the market for $650,000. The two-story home is located at 6034 N. Drake. Another property available in North Park is a one-story three bedroom home at 5144 N. Monticello Avenue.
