The development was marketed as one of the last addresses on the Lake, and is basically sold out with only a handful of units left. The condos have luxury finishes and building amenities include a 24 hour doorman, sun deck, bike room, business center and fitness center.
3600 North Lake Shore Drive is another two tower development. The buildings are 28 stories tall and have a combined 640 one to three bedroom condos that range anywhere from the upper $100,000s to $700,000s. The units in these towers are owner-occupied. Pets are welcome and amenities include valet garage parking, fitness center, sun deck, party room and dry cleaning service.
1400 Lake Shore Drive from RDM Development has 398 studio to three bedroom units. This is a vintage building, constructed in the '20s and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Don't worry though because it has been totally renovated and the units for lease are up to date. There is a sun deck with grilling area on the roof and cats and dogs are allowed.
1212 North Lake Shore Drive is a full amenity building that was constructed in the '70s. Residents have the use of a bike room, optional valet garage parking, doorman, fitness room, party room, sun deck, indoor pool and sauna. There are 180 one to three bedroom condos, many with balconies or terraces, in this 36 story tower. Pets are welcome.
At 1100 N Lake Shore Drive you'll find another full amenity 40 story building with 74 two to three bedroom units, some of them duplexes. The tower has a doorman, fitness room, extra resident storage, coin laundry, sun deck and valet parking. Dogs and cats are welcome.
On 1300 North Lake Shore Drive is the location of a 41 story high-rise built in the mid '60s. This tower has 142 two to three bedroom condos with city and lake views. The building has a party room, fitness room, sun deck, extra storage space, bike room, doorman, coin laundry and indoor pool. Pets are allowed.
With spectacular lake views, these condos on Lake Shore Drive will probably hold their title as some of the most desirable in Chicago. This is just a good sampling of the high-rises located on LSD, but if you take a drive you’ll see the appeal the condos have and understand why they have been a hit with buyers.
