City Centre Condominiums

Concord Homes is the creator of City Centre Condominiums, built on 208 West Washington in Chicago. This 2001 conversion project took an existing 24 story building with a lot of history and created a group of 214 modern condominiums that were elegantly designed and constructed with quality materials and finishes.

The lower floors of The City Centre building once contained an assembly hall that could accommodate 300 guests. Now the base top of the building sports an attractive courtyard that greets residents and guests. The lobby of the building is elegantly furnished and a twenty-four hour doorman is on duty for safety and security purposes. A modern elevator serves to make quick trips up and down the twenty-four floors.

City Centre residents will never have to travel across town just to work out or even leave the building for that matter. New rich hardwood flooring runs through the kitchen, living room, dining room and foyer. The baths are tiled and the bedrooms have wall to wall name brand carpeting. A laundry room was built into each condo and the closets have shelving for clothes, linen and bedding storage. A fireplace also graces the condos, adding a touch of warmth to the home.

The kitchens at City Centre Condos are gourmet quality both in design and appliance package. GE brand stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, cook range with oven hood and fan plus dishwasher are standard. An island creates a handy extra space for preparing food or even seating an extra guest or two for a quick snack. Upgraded maple cabinets with lots of storage space and counters topped in sleek, durable granite complete the look.

Residents at City Centre will be living in the heart of the Loop section of Chicago. Public transportation is close at hand with an El station half a block away and the Brown Line of the CTA nearby. For dining options, it is only a short walk to the dozens of restaurants in the area. Shopping is abundant with State Street not far and outdoor activities and entertainment abound with the close proximity of Millennium Park and all of its long list of attractions along with nearby Cadillac Theater and also the business district.
