Lincoln Square is home to a number of new construction and older vintage condominium developments that offer an affordable alternative for first-time buyers. One development in the area that offers three two-bedroom and two-bath condos is located at 2215 W Foster Ave.

This three-story red brick building has been completely renovated, and buyers have already picked up all of the units. The most affordable condo to sell at 2215 W Foster Ave is the ground floor unit that offers a total of 1,000 square feet of living space. This condo sold for $165,000, and has monthly assessments of $150. The first floor unit sold for $273,000. The most expensive unit to sell in recent months is on the second floor. This condo sold for $298,000, and has monthly assessments of $199.

The development offers a number of luxury amenities, including gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances, 42-inch cabinets, and granite countertops. The master bath features a double vanity and marble finishings. Each unit offers plenty of natural light through the oversized windows, hardwood flooring throughout almost all areas of the condo, and carpeting in the master bedroom. Other features include a separate eating area, a large outdoor deck, and central air conditioning. Parking is available in the outdoor parking lot.

The neighborhood offers a great lifestyle with plenty to do within a few blocks. Foster and Western Avenues are home to several restaurants. Popular choices in the area include San Soo Ka san, Dorado Restaurant, and Taza Coffee and Deli. Nightlife in the area includes such favorites as Claddagh Ring, Atlantic Bar and Grill, and K's Dugout.

Public transportation to downtown Chicago and the rest of the city isn't too convenient from this neighborhood. However, a quick 15-minute walk will get you to both an El and Metra station. The closest El station is at Western and Leland on the Brown line, while the Ravenswood Stop at Lawrence and Ravenswood is a good way to get to the northern suburbs. Several buses serve the neighborhood.

There are several parks within a few blocks from home at 2215 W Foster Ave. Just a few blocks west you'll find the beautiful River Park, with plenty of space to go for a morning jog. Winnemac Park is just a block away, and is a great place to take the family.

Lincoln Square has seen a significant drop in sales of condos in recent months. According to data from the Chicago Association of Realtors, a total of 144 condos were sold in the neighborhood in the second quarter, down from 186 units sold during the same period a year ago. However, it was still the fourth highest total sales seen in the last 18 years during the second quarter.
