This has forced quite a few developers to offer everything from free parking to free rent in an effort to get leases signed. One of those rental towers currently advertising perks for new renters is Streeter Place, located on 355 East Ohio Street.

Right now if you sign a 14 month lease on the bulk of the remaining unoccupied two or three bedroom apartments in this 53 story, 480 unit high-rise you’ll get three months of free rent. If you opt for a 12 month lease on any of the other available units you can still score two months of free rent. The rental rate include utilities like water, AC, gas, wireless Internet, basic cable television plus HBO and DVR. Parking is also reduced to $99 per spot.

The apartments at Streeter Place come with standard luxury finishes such as stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors. Building amenities include Club 355 perks. Those include a fitness center, spa, sauna, outdoor pool, sundeck, BBQ area, lounge with plasma television, billiards table, MP3 compatible sound system and wireless Internet access. There is also a fully equipped business center.

But if you’re more interested in buying a residence over time, there are also plenty of Rent to own condos in Chicago that might be a perfect fit.
