Silver Tower Residents Moving In
comments!
July 7, 2009 – It’s not red, white and blue, but Silver Tower welcomed its first residents on Independence weekend, according to their blog. This Chicago real estate development seems to have been a long time in the works, but with deliveries started (5 residents moved in) things are definitely picking up pace.
It’s still difficult to pin down exact sales numbers at Silver Tower as Stonegate Development is pretty guarded. But in any case, the 40 story, 233 unit West Ohio Street high-rise in River North has a selection of Chicago condos left if you’re interested in purchasing. The one to three bedroom units are still running from about the $270,000s to $790,000s. The building has been trying to get FHA approval, which would mean a low down payment and interest rates, but they are still waiting.
A quick run down of Silver Tower’s finishes looks pretty much like the standards you’d expect. The condos come with a balcony or terrace, floor-to-ceiling windows, oak hardwood floors in the common areas, carpeted bedrooms, painted solid wood doors and millwork, Kitchen Aid appliances, granite counter tops, double sink and cherry or maple cabinets. The baths have 12″ marble floor tile and surround, framed glass shower doors and marble vanity tops. The building is pet-friendly and has resident bike storage and lockers, fitness center, 24 hour doorman and a sky lobby with terrace and lounge.
