Rainbo Village Shows Its Colors With New Models
comments!
February 2, 2008 – Metropolitan Development Enterprises has opened two models for their Rainbo Village project. You can now get a closer look at the soft loft layouts. A 904 square foot one bedroom, one bath unit and a 1,486 square foot two bedroom, two bath furnished unit are on display at the 4814 North Clark Street site. Prices range from about $260,000 to $464,000 with ten different floor plans available.
The entire complex sits on what once was the Rainbo Roller Rink, a two acre plot that originally got its colorful name from the Rainbo Gardens that sprang up after WWI. When completed, Rainbo Village will have 127 living units. The south Kinetic Lofts building is already delivering on its 44 units and the north building will start doing the same on its 44 lofts later this month. A mix of 16 other condominiums, 9 three story townhomes and 8 two story duplexes will also be built. Residents will be able to take a walk around the courtyard and see some of the stones from the original buildings that once made up Rainbo. The project actually won a Silver Key Award from the Home Builders Association of Chicago in 2006 for Best Land Planning.
To brighten up your own personal Rainbo, loft buyers get the Metropolitan Advantage. This deal automatically nets details like marble tile in the baths, hardwood cabinets, gourmet quality appliances, whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. You can also receive 15% off furnishings at Urbanest if you buy a loft and 10% if you at least visit the sales center. Or you can wait for phase III if you want one of the new Townhouses in Chicago.
