July 2, 2010 – For those of you who might be looking for a deal on condos in Edgewater, Chicago real estate developer Kenmore JB is offering a $3,000 discount on the next three sales at their ten unit project. The low-rise is located on 5510 North Kenmore Avenue and is a rehabbed building, according to a recent profile in Chicago Magazine. The developer had previously reduced prices on the condos by as much as $40,000 to $50,000. So buyers are getting a pretty good deal even before the new incentive.

Prices on the units run anywhere from $199,000 to $349,000. There is no garage parking available, but outdoor spots can be purchased for an additional $15,000.

The building has new mechanical systems and floors, according to the article. There are also original stained glass windows and Art Deco newel posts. The units also have private back porches. The condos run from a two bedroom unit with 800 square feet to a 1,650 square foot two-floor condo.
