October 14, 2010 – Chicago real estate developer Lennar Homes is at it once again with another so-called sale at Library Tower. This time they are marketing it as “America’s Greatest Home Sale Ever” and the ad on their site states that it has been extended until October 17th. This must be the “Limited Time” sale that keeps popping up and that Lennar is pushing to get the last one bedroom condo, pair of two bedroom units and handful of three bedroom condos under contract.
The sale incentives this time may sound familiar. Buyers who purchase one of the last unsold developer units and obrain financing through Lennar’s prefered lender, Universal American Mortgage Company, can get a 30 year fixed-rate mortgage with 4.25% (4.99% APR) interest rates and as little as 3.5% down if you qualify for an FHA backed loan. Or buyers can opt for as much as $5,000 back towards closing costs and in some cases also a free washer, dryer or refrigerator.
The one bedroom condos at Library Tower start at $259,990 and the two bedroom units are priced from $339,990. Three bedroom condos are listed from $499,990.
The condos come with GE stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, 42 inch upper cabinets, hardwood flooing, balconies, oversized windows, stone bath tile and surround. Residents of the 18 story Library Tower, which sits on 520 South State Street, have a 24 hour doorman, fitness center, bike storage room, private park, rooftop sun deck, business center, party room and movie room.
