Lexington Park Nearing Delivery Date

January 9, 2009 – April is shaping up to be a busy month for deliveries of Chicago condos, at least on paper anyway. Another South Loop Chicago real estate development to add to the list of expected April move-ins is Lexington Park Condominiums from the Chieftain Group. The 35 story development is located on 2138 South Indiana Avenue. Actually the loft portion of this project will finish first with deliveries coming soon, and there are still just over a third of the 36 lofts still available for sale. First deliveries on the condos will follow in April.

Lexington Park’s lofts are one and two bedroom layouts and range in size from 1,068 to 1,645 square feet. The finishes are as expected; stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, marble tile in the baths, bamboo flooring and high-grade carpeting. The prices on the remaining lofts run from the high $400,000s to the low $700,000s.

The incentives advertised on the building website are still good. With the purchase of certain condo loft units buyers can get 50% off a parking space, valued up to $17,450. Employees of the City of Chicago are also eligible for a $5,000 break on closing costs.

The condos at Lexington Park are also one to two bedrooms and vary in size from 656 to 1,346 square feet of living space. Prices on those units that will be ready for occupancy starting in April of this year run from the $230,000s to the low $400,000s.

With no new Chicago Condo Lofts projects hovering on the near horizon, you might want to check out this development if you have your heart set on one.
