Clare At Water Tower Now Complete
Let us hear yourcomments!
January 3, 2009 - What may be the tallest high-rise development strictly for senior adults is now ready for move-ins. The Clare at Water Tower, located on 55 East Pearson Street, started construction back in early 2006. Interestingly, work on this Chicago real estate project started the same day as did the now stalled Waterview Tower did. The major difference being that Waterview is still just a shell of a parking garage and The Clare at Water Tower is now a complete 54 story curved tower.
Both independent and assisted senior living residences are available. Comprehensive services provided include housekeeping, meal services, banking, mailing and transportation. There is also a fitness center, medical services, library, art studio, media rooms, salon, barber and coordinated gatherings and social events. This all comes at a fairly steep price, with apartments there running anywhere from the $500,000s to over $1 million plus monthly fees of from $2,000 to $4,000.
And for those of you not quite ready in terms of age or finances for Clare, you may want to check out the Chicago condo units left at The Vic in Lake View. There appear to be at least a half dozen still for sale, ranging in size from two to three bedrooms and from the upper $400,000s to mid $500,000s. The Vic Theater is just a quick walk across the street, so you almost have built-in entertainment if you live there.
If you’re one of the fortunate few who are shopping for Chicago Condos this year, here’s hoping that 2009 brings you the perfect home.
