February 1, 2008 - 550 St. Clair, which is nearly finished with construction, recently put out a press release stating that first deliveries would begin on February 7th. The 26 story Streeterville tower is 85 percent sold, with only 17 units left available for purchase from the 112 total condos in the building.

The article gave a run down of the condos that were still for sale at that time. From the 17 remaining, 8 of those are three bedroom penthouse suites that cost from $798,500 to over $1.7 million. These penthouses run from 1,675 to 3,075 square feet, are located on the top four floors of the tower, have three to four baths and each has balconies and terraces.

Next up are 4 one bedroom condos that have 800 to 1,000 square feet of living space and are priced from $398,500 to $443,500. Lastly, you can get one of the 2 remaining 550 square foot studios for $288,500 to $314,500.

Finishes at 550 St. Clair include Sub-Zero and Bosch appliances, imported European kitchen cabinets with frosted glass doors, maple or Brazilian cherry hardwood floors and 10 to 11 foot high exposed concrete ceilings. The building sports a 24 hours doorman, lap pool, fitness center with separate men’s and women’s saunas, individual storage lockers and heated garage parking.
