The landscaping, exterior, and lobby at 625 Wrightwood have been completely redone, and an outdoor common-area is planned for development. The elevators and hallways have been extensively redecorated, and new thermal-pane windows were installed throughout.

Several different condo designs are available, in studio, small one-bedroom, and one-bedroom plans. All include hardwood floors, a lighting credit, and new solid-core doors and millwork.

Each unit has a new kitchen with 42” shaker-style cabinets, granite countertops, and a full stainless-steel appliance package. Bathrooms include granite vanity countertops and your choice of stone flooring. Parking is available.

625 Wrightwood is within walking distance from both Lincoln Park and Lake Michigan, surrounded by the extensive shopping, dining, and nightlife opportunities that Lincoln Park residents expect.

Aqua Tower Construction Begins

Monday, April 9th, 2007

Construction began February 28th on the nearly 2 million-square-foot Aqua residential tower in the Lakeshore East mixed-use development, designed by Studio Gang Architects of Chicago.

The $474 million, 87-story tower will include 264 condominiums, 476 apartments, 210 hotel rooms, 37,165 square feet of offices and 17,536 square feet of retail space. It will also feature a 27,500-square-foot indoor health club and an 80,000 square-foot outdoor pool area with cabanas. Click here for more great Chicago Pre Construction Condos.

If it’s completed according to plan, the approximately $4 billion Lakeshore East community will have 4,750 residences, 1,200 hotel rooms, 250,000 square feet of commercial space, a school and a park.

Although the original design set aside 2 million square feet for offices, these will instead most likely become residences, said the developer, Jim Lowenberg of Chicago-based Magellan Development Group LLC.
